Fire TV Stick Installation

10 minutes · All Fire TV Stick models

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is the most popular IPTV device in Canada. This guide works on Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and Fire TV Cube. Steps are nearly identical across all models.

  1. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Go to Settings (gear icon, top right), select My Fire TV, then Developer Options. Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources. If you don't see Developer Options, click on the Fire TV name 7 times in About first.

  2. Install the Downloader App

From the Fire TV home screen, search for "Downloader." Select the orange icon, click Get or Download, then Open.

  3. Download IPTV Smarters Pro

Open Downloader, type the official IPTV Smarters Pro download URL, and click Go. Wait for the APK to download, then click Install.

  4. Login with Your IPTV1 Credentials

Open IPTV Smarters Pro, accept the terms, and select Login with Xtream Codes API. Enter:

    • Any name (for example, "IPTV1")
    • Username from your email
    • Password from your email
    • Server URL from your email
  5. Wait for Channels to Load

Click Add User and wait 30 to 60 seconds. Your channel list, EPG, and VOD library will load automatically. You're done.

Pro Tip

Switch your Fire TV Stick from 2.4GHz to 5GHz Wi-Fi in Settings → Network for the smoothest streaming. Or use a Fire TV Ethernet adapter (about $20 CAD) for the most stable connection.

TV

Smart TV Installation

12 minutes · Samsung, LG, Hisense, TCL

Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, and most Android-based Smart TVs (Hisense, TCL, Sony) support IPTV directly through dedicated apps. Here's how to install IPTV1 on each.

For Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)

  1. Open the Smart Hub

Press the Home button on your Samsung remote and open the Apps store.

  2. Search and Install Smart IPTV

Search for "Smart IPTV" or "OTT Player" and install it. Both work on Tizen.

  3. Find Your TV's MAC Address

Open Smart IPTV. The app shows your TV's MAC address on the home screen. Write it down.

  4. Upload Your IPTV1 Playlist

On a phone or computer, visit the Smart IPTV website, enter your TV's MAC address, and upload the M3U URL from your IPTV1 welcome email.

  5. Restart Smart IPTV

Close and reopen Smart IPTV on your Samsung TV. Channels and EPG appear automatically.

For LG Smart TV (webOS)

  1. Open the LG Content Store

Press Home on your LG remote, then open Content Store.

  2. Install SS IPTV or Smart IPTV

Search for "SS IPTV" or "Smart IPTV." Both work on LG webOS. Install the one that's available in your region.

  3. Add Your IPTV1 Playlist

Open the app, go to Settings, and enter the M3U URL from your welcome email. Or use the MAC address method like Samsung if your app prompts for it.

  4. Channels Load Automatically

The full channel list and EPG appear within 60 seconds.

Pro Tip

If your Smart TV doesn't support these apps, use a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box plugged into the HDMI port. It's often easier and faster than fighting with Smart TV app stores.

AN

Android Installation

5 minutes · Phones, tablets, Android TV boxes

Android setup is the simplest. The same process works on Android phones, tablets, Android TV boxes, and Android-based Smart TVs.

  1. Open the Google Play Store

On your Android device, open the Play Store app.

  2. Search for IPTV Smarters Pro

Type "IPTV Smarters Pro" in the search bar and tap the official app result.

  3. Install the App

Tap Install and wait for the download to complete. The app is free.

  4. Open and Login

Open IPTV Smarters Pro, accept terms, and select Login with Xtream Codes API. Enter the username, password, and server URL from your IPTV1 email.

  5. Start Watching

Tap Add User. Channels and EPG load in under a minute. You're ready to stream.

Pro Tip

For Android TV boxes (not Android phones), TiviMate is a polished alternative with a smoother interface. Free version works great. Available on Google Play.

iOS

Apple Device Installation

5 minutes · iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac

Apple devices use the official App Store for IPTV apps. No sideloading needed. The setup process is identical across iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.

  1. Open the App Store

On your Apple device, open the App Store. On Apple TV, navigate to the App Store from the home screen.

  2. Search for IPTV Smarters Player

Type "IPTV Smarters Player" or "GSE Smart IPTV" in the search bar. Both work great with IPTV1.

  3. Install the App

Tap Get and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.

  4. Open and Add Your Subscription

Launch the app, accept terms, and select Login with Xtream Codes API. Enter the username, password, and server URL from your IPTV1 email.

  5. Channels Load Automatically

Wait 30 to 60 seconds for the channel list and EPG to populate. You're done.

Pro Tip

For iPhone and iPad users with strict Apple settings, GSE Smart IPTV is the most stable choice. The free version is enough for most viewers.

PC

Windows and Mac Installation

7 minutes · Windows PC, MacBook, iMac

Watching IPTV on a desktop or laptop is great for second screens or for users who don't have a dedicated streaming device. Two main options work on both Windows and Mac.

Option A: VLC Media Player (Free, Universal)

  1. Download VLC Media Player

Go to the official VLC website and download the version for Windows or macOS. Install it like any other app.

  2. Open VLC and Add a Network Stream

Open VLC, click Media (or File on Mac), then Open Network Stream. Paste the M3U URL from your IPTV1 welcome email.

  3. Click Play

VLC starts playing the first channel. To browse the full list, use a player like IPTV Smarters Pro instead.

Option B: IPTV Smarters Pro for Desktop (Best Experience)

  1. Download IPTV Smarters Pro for Desktop

Visit the official IPTV Smarters website and download the Windows or Mac version.

  2. Install and Launch

Run the installer and open IPTV Smarters Pro on your computer.

  3. Login with Xtream Codes

Enter the credentials from your IPTV1 welcome email: name, username, password, server URL.

  4. Browse and Watch

The full channel list, EPG, and VOD library appear automatically.

MG

MAG Box Installation

8 minutes · MAG 254, 322, 324, 524, 540

MAG boxes use a slightly different setup process because they connect via a portal URL instead of M3U or Xtream Codes. Here's how to set up IPTV1 on any MAG model.

  1. Power On Your MAG Box

Connect your MAG box to your TV via HDMI and to the internet via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

  2. Find Your MAC Address

From the home screen, go to Settings → System Settings → About. Note the MAC address (it looks like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX).

  3. Send Your MAC Address to IPTV1 Support

Email or WhatsApp our support team with your MAC address. We register your device with our portal server within minutes.

  4. Set the Portal URL

Once support confirms registration, go to Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals. Set Portal 1 to the URL we provide. Save.

  5. Reboot Your MAG Box

Restart the MAG box. On reboot, channels and EPG load automatically through the portal connection.

Pro Tip

MAG boxes work best with wired Ethernet. Wi-Fi connections sometimes cause portal loading errors at startup. If your MAG keeps showing "loading portal" forever, switch to a wired connection.

Common Setup Questions

Quick answers to the most common installation issues Canadian users encounter.

I didn't receive my IPTV1 login credentials by email
Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders first. If your credentials still haven't arrived after 5 minutes, contact our 24/7 support team with the email address you used to order. We'll resend or generate new credentials within minutes.
The app says "Invalid credentials" or "Authentication failed"
Double-check that you copied the username, password, and server URL exactly from your welcome email. Watch for trailing spaces or auto-corrected characters. The server URL must include http:// or https:// at the start. If everything looks right, contact support — your account may not be activated yet.
Channels load but freeze or buffer constantly
This is almost always a network issue, not a service issue. Switch from 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to 5GHz, or use a wired Ethernet connection if possible. Run a speed test at peak hours (9pm) and confirm you're getting at least 25 Mbps for 4K streaming. Restart your router and clear the IPTV player app cache.
The TV guide (EPG) is empty or missing
Open your IPTV player, go to Settings, and select Refresh EPG (sometimes called "Update Guide" or "Reload EPG"). Confirm your device's time zone matches your Canadian province. If the guide stays empty, close the app fully, reopen it, and wait 60 seconds.
Can I install IPTV1 on more than one device?
Yes. You can install IPTV1 on as many devices as you want. However, the number of simultaneous streams is limited by your subscription plan. Single-connection plans allow 1 stream at a time. Multi-device plans support up to 4 simultaneous streams. Pause one device before starting another if you hit the limit.
Do I need a VPN to set up IPTV1 in Canada?
No. A VPN is not required to use IPTV1 in Canada. Our servers are optimized for Canadian connections. Some users prefer a VPN for privacy reasons or while traveling abroad, but it's optional. If you do use one, choose a paid VPN with Canadian servers for the best speeds.
My device isn't on this list. What should I do?
IPTV1 works on virtually any device that can run an IPTV player app. If your device runs Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, Tizen, webOS, or Roku OS (with workarounds), there's a setup path. Contact our support team with your exact device model and we'll send you a custom setup guide.
